About Wheeling Jesuit Rugby
Rugby returned to WJU in the fall of 2012 after 10 plus years on hiatus from the University. The program was brought back by the President and Vice-President of the University at a varsity level to give student-athletes who play Rugby the opportunity to compete at a high level as well as further their education at one of 27 Jesuit Universities here in the United States. The program not only looks to compete at the highest collegiate level, Div-1A and contended for a National title in the future but also produce individuals who are able to enter the different player pools for the various levels of national teams to hopefully represent the USA on the international stage.
