As we are now less than a month away from the start of the D1A playoffs, each game has increasing importance, and Week 11 has plenty of games that will have massive post season ramifications.
Founded in 1846, The University at Buffalo is the flagship institution in the State University of New York system. As the largest and most comprehensive campus in the 64-campus SUNY system, UB is a premier research-intensive public university dedicated to academic excellence. UB has a full spectrum of programs including more than 100 undergraduate degrees, 190 master’s degrees, 83 doctoral degrees, and 4 professional degrees.
UB spends more than $349.4 million annually on research, seeking knowledge that leads to new cures, improved processes, stronger materials, faster computers, smarter software, smaller machines, and thousands of other improvements to life that flow from a great research university. According to US News and World Report, “the University at Buffalo embraces a tradition of academic excellence, pathbreaking research, provocative creative expression, and meaningful community service”.
The University at Buffalo Rugby program strives to maintain these same standards of excellence. Established in 1966, the club has enjoyed a winning tradition ever since. As a member of the powerhouse Rugby East conference we regularly compete with some of the top programs in the country as well as against teams in the Big 10, MAC, Ivy League, and other conferences. Three sides compete every week including a development team in the Upstate Small College Rugby Conference.
If you are the type of athlete or rugby player that loves a challenge and would like to compete with the best consider continuing your academic and rugby career here at the University at Buffalo. Email us at email@example.com for more information, or visit us online at www.ubrugby.webs.com.
