Layfayette, CO.- This week’s rankings are in, and after a rather quiet week, there are minimal changes.

From the Top 20 this weekend we saw Life, Cal, Lindenwood, Arizona, San Diego State, UC Davis and Utah take the field against other D1A teams. The results, for the most part, went as expected. Life was able to see off Davenport with ease, Cal demolished USC, Lindenwood beat shutout Clemson and Arizona beat their in-state rival Arizona State by seven converted tries. In the California Conference San Diego State dispatched of UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis went through Santa Clara.

Utah, however, were unable to follow suit and drew with PAC rival UCLA. This is now the second week in a row that UCLA has drawn with their opponent, after they drew with San Diego State last weekend. Utah on the other hand is still on the prowl for their first win in the PAC conference for 2018.

As a result of the draw UC Davis was able to leap frog Utah and take over the 18th spot in the rankings while Utah slipped down to 19th. UCLA, who remains unranked, will have a challenge ahead of them next weekend when they take on Cal, but a strong showing there could be enough to land them in the Top 20 Rankings for the first time this year.
