The University of Oklahoma Men’s Rugby team is partnering with Koda CrossFit as their official training facility. Koda’s Director of Programming, Brice Collier, will lead the strength and conditioning program. Collier was a member of Air Force Academy Rugby from 2005-2008, and was also a 2008 USA Rugby All-American. Collier knows the physical demands of the game, and stated, “I am excited to implement a sport-specific program to help these athletes perform to their highest potential on the field.” Sooners head coach Jason Horowitz believes this partnership will be essential to the team’s future success. “Brice and his team of coaches are spot-on in recognizing weaknesses, assessing strengths and building a program that will dramatically impact our fitness, strength, durability, and team unity.” Koda CrossFit is an independently owned CrossFit gym with locations in Norman and Oklahoma City. Koda hopes to further develop the “ALL IN” mentality that has led the OU Men’s Rugby team to success on and off the field.
