WEST POINT, N.Y. – Continuing to provide extensive coverage of Army West Point sports, the Black Knights announced today that all three men’s rugby home contests will be streamed live on Knight Vision.
Competing in their second full season as a member of the Army Athletic Association, the Black Knights look to defend their 2014 Rugby East title and make a push into the D1A National Playoffs. Army bowed out in the quarterfinal round in last year’s national championships, falling to second-ranked Davenport after a first-round bye.
Knight Vision will report live from Anderson Rugby Complex on Sept. 12 as the men take to the pitch in game two of a doubleheader with the women. The men are set for a 2 p.m. kickoff against Buffalo in their season-opener.
Army will return to the pitch for a meeting with St. Bonaventure on Sept. 19 as they take to the field under the lights with a 7 p.m. kickoff with the Bonnies.
The home portion of the fall 2015 season will wrap up on Sept. 26 from Anderson Rugby Complex as the Cadets host conference rival Wheeling Jesuit for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
The remainder of Army’s schedule will take place on the road as the team travels to Penn State, West Virginia, Iona, Kutztown and Air Force before a trip to the American Collegiate Rugby Conference (ACRC) Bowl Series.
