Lafayette, CO.- Now that the D1A season has come and gone, the final rankings for the season are in and teams have been rewarded or suffered consequences for their results during the playoffs.

The Top 5 has seen a overhaul with no team remaining in their original positions, and one team dropping out to welcome some new blood into the top quarter of the competition. Life and Cal moved to 1st and 2nd in the rankings, reflective of their finishes in the playoffs. Lindenwood has moved up to three in the rankings, as a result of their impressive wins over Texas A&M and Saint Mary’s in the round of 16 and quarterfinals. Taking the fourth spot in the rankings is, Saint Mary’s, who has fallen from their perch atop the rankings. Rounding up the top 20 is Penn State who were rewarded for their come from behind road trip victory over BYU.

Filling out the top ten are some familiar faces, including BYU who dropped from 4th down to 6th. Outside of BYU joining their ranks there has not been too many changes to rankings 6-10, other than Arkansas State joining the top ten.
