LAFAYETTE, Colo. – Texas A&M ended its Red River Conference season on a three-match winning streak, including last week’s 71-12 win over TCU. The entire Aggie lineup made an impact in the win over the Horned Frogs, especially openside flanker and D1A Player of the Week Braeden Hood.
“He’s the glue to our team,” said Texas A&M Head Coach James Lowrey. “He leads by example and demands a high standard for himself.”
The Australian-born Hood scored a second half try against TCU and had his usual dominant performance on the defensive side of the ball. Not only is Hood a poaching machine and a fierce tackler, but the Chemical Engineering major takes-on plenty of responsibility for the Aggies away from the pitch as the team’s president.
“On top of studying at A&M, which is no easy feet in itself, he leads the club’s ventures off the field with the intent of putting the club on the national stage,” added Lowrey. “I can’t say enough about his character.”
