BOULDER, Colo. – Only four teams remain in the hunt for the National Championship after a great weekend of playoff rugby.

Arkansas State beat Kutztown 31-10 in Jonesboro, Ark., and Life took out Army 55-29 in West Point, N.Y. Meanwhile, Cal Poly beat CSU 40-19 in Ft. Collins, Colo., and St. Mary’s beat CU 65-25 in Moraga. Calif. to claim a spot in the semis.

Next weekend, Arkansas State and Life will square off for the third time this season.  Each team can claim a win over the other in the regular season, and the third and final match promises to be a thriller and another dramatic chapter in the history of the two southern powerhouses.

On the other side of the bracket, St. Mary’s and Cal Poly will face off in the other semifinal.  Poly gave St. Mary’s a tough game earlier in the regular season, but St. Mary’s came off with a 41-31 win.
